Analyzing Technical Elements of Film Avengers Endgame

I chose to Talk about a few of the camera angles and movements in the 2019 movie Avengers Endgame. I'm a big superhero action movie fan. Just like most movies in this genre the movements, angles and sounds all contribute to a variety of different emotions in the viewer.

This scene starts with an over the shoulder shot while playing music that induces a feeling of anticipation.  The camera work contributes to the construction of meaning by showing how the past captain America is obliviously mistaken, thinking the future captain America is Loki. The audience is encouraged to feel eager to know what's next through the use of anticipation music and showing the two different versions of captain America interact with each other.

Within the same scene both captain Americas start fighting. The music contributes to the scene being dramatic and action packed. The Dutch angle when past captain America had his future counter part in a choke hold works with the music to prompt the audience to feel the drama in the scene. The audience is made to question what will happen next, especially when future captain America reveals to his past self that Buckie is still alive.

This scene starts with hawkeye expressing a sad face while hulk and captain America ask him where black widow is. After the camera slowly zooms into hawkeye's face showing how distraught he is to bring the bad news that he had to sacrifice his bestfriend. This scene has no music exaggerating the natural sounds to make the audience feel as sad as Hawkeye.

This scene where the avengers are coping with the death of black widow, the background music is a sad low volume tune. The scene shows Thor trying to figure a way to get black widow back while hawkeye tells him its impossible. the whole scene is in a close up of everyone showing their shoulder up. This shot helps the audience see the characters' sadness.

The dramatic music in the starting of the scene as thanos arrives makes the audience feel excited but uncertain to see if the avengers can repel this returning foe. The close up of his face when he was addressing nebula helped the audience see how serious the scene is and helps set the tone of the upcoming events.
